About Us

The Mont is a breakfast n’ lunch spot in the heart of Portland’s historic Belmont District. We opened our doors in 2020, right as the world was changing, and we’ve been quietly slaying it ever since. It hasn’t always been easy, but with a lot of hard work, love, and support from our community, we’ve made it through, while staying true to our simple, classic, and fresh approach to food.

We offer friendly, full service with no pretension, just good food and good vibes. Weekends are always busy, but Patric Gray and Noah Kovach’s specials make it totally worth it. They might be chefs you’ve never met or even heard of, but trust us, they’re some of the best in town.

And yes… we hear it every day: we serve the best Eggs Benedict in town.

Run by a 5th-generation Portlander family, The Mont is all about community, great food, and a little neighborhood charm. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite, catching up with friends, or just here to brunch… yeah, we brunchin’. We wanna meet you. Oh, and check out our VHS collection.
